Joe Waroquier

Joe established Joe Waroquier HOME in 2015 but started his design career much earlier. Growing up in his mom’s flower shop in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, he was always intrigued by design and how the right combination of flowers could completely transform a table, a space, or a feeling. As an adult and after a short-lived and admittedly not-too-exciting career in the energy industry, Joe moved to Washington, D.C. and transferred his love and talent for design to home interiors. He honed his skills with two interior design firms before hanging his own shingle.

Joe opened his first studio and retail boutique in Georgetown, D.C. to provide the community with a chance to explore the unknown and to touch and feel some of the products he has sourced. It’s instant gratification for some, education for others. Either way, Joe welcomes the chance to meet new people and talk about what he’s discovered on recent trips in the US, and to Europe, South America, or the Middle East.

In 2019, Joe moved his personal life and business to the Philadelphia area. Joe was drawn to the Main Line for its history, style, and energy, not to mention a beautiful 1925 stone colonial he discovered and purchased in Overbrook Farms. Joe likes running, would like to start rowing, and spends as much of his free time as possible in Avalon, New Jersey.

When you talk to her, she will tell you that being a mom to Michael and aunt to two nieces brings her the most joy.
